A nice day on the beach
When you use web-based applications you can work anywhere. Yesterday was a very nice example of that. We all headed to the beach and set up a temporary office at Sollerudstranda in Oslo. You can read more on that in Dagbladet (the second most popular newspaper in Norway). Unfortuantly the story only got covered in the online edition. Working at the beach is not something we usually do, but it really shows how flexible it can make employees in terms of location and time. Work at a client’s office, an airport or at home.
