Arne and Marcus have come up with a killer feature for their excellent iUseThis site: imakeprofile. This nifty new app sends a list of your applications you have installed and compares it to your apps on iUseThis.com. Presenting you with a list of applications you prefer but haven’t installed. Great to use when installing applications on another computer or after a reinstall. Currently only for OSX but a beta version of the site targeted at Windows users is coming soon (im still waiting Arne!).

Check out the blog post over at iUseThis.com for more info. If you like it then digg it.

Some guys I met at the UX-net meetup here in Oslo have started a cool new site for Mac-users which is sortof digg.com for Mac software. The site is called iUseThis.com – finally a normal name for a hot new web-app, not some nonsense name or changing some letters in a normal word like others. It has all the “web 2.0″ features such as RSS, social network, tagging and more, but according Arne, one of the developers, their aim is not to be a “web 2.0″ site, at least in terms of design and wording. I think it’s a great idea and I am looking forward to their next project, which is similar.

Check out their blog at http://blog.iusethis.com/
