Opera CEO swimming from Norway to USA
The CEO of Opera, Jon S. von Tetzchner, said he would swim from Norway to USA if downloads of the Opera 8 browser reached 1 million within four days after the release.
And here he is in the Oslo fjord on his way. The plan is to stop by Island for a cup of hot chocolate at his mom’s place.
I like the way Opera has handled this even though im not too enthusiastic of fake publicity stunts like this. It would have been a much better idea to have a challenge that would be possible to accomplish.
