Standard way of handling plugins in browsers

Well, it’s seems one of my calls on my browser changes wishlist has been heard. Mozilla announced today that:

At worst this will result in dealing with two plugin’s - one for this new standard and the other being Internet Explorer. Well it’s a lot better than today with different plugin’s for each browser, though the main ones support all browsers.
